Visa Looks for a New Stablecoin Partner

💳 Visa Looks for a New Stablecoin Partner
🌐 The competition between traditional payment giants and the crypto industry continues to grow.
Visa is reportedly searching for a new partner to support stablecoin settlement and OTC transactions after Mastercard completed its acquisition of BVNK earlier this month. BVNK had previously provided infrastructure for Visa’s stablecoin-related operations.
💰 Visa is looking for a partner capable of supporting multiple stablecoins and operating across major markets, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. The company is also looking to support settlement connected with its Open USD initiative.
🔄 For the crypto exchange industry, this is another sign that stablecoins are becoming an important part of global payment infrastructure. Large financial companies are increasingly using blockchain-based assets for settlements, cross-border payments, and transfers between digital and traditional currencies.
🚀 Visa and Mastercard are now competing not only in traditional payments, but also for control over the infrastructure that connects fiat currencies, stablecoins, and blockchain networks.
💬 Do you think stablecoins will become a standard part of international payments in the next few years?
